SHIPBOARD TRAINING The objective of the ship board didactics programme is to develop individual skills. It should prepare each person to fill his note of hand aboard ship, to accept more responsibility, and to advance in rating. Individual breeding is the basis for team training, which is the basis for training an entire ship. The shipboard training program must consider the ships organizational framework and operating schedules if it is to meet training needs. Personnel must be trained within their shipboard roles so that analysis of training so-and-so include the following 1.Observation of team or group and individual performance 2. Comparison of performance with standard criteria 3. perception of methods for improvement 4. Attention to training potential and the elimination of training paper work In fast changing shipboard environment the need of a properly competent seafarer has never been more prominent, there is a growing demand for onboard training services to refresh cr ew knowledge and dep single the safe with training, drills and exercises.
